I am a straight married guy. Every once in awhile I have a dream of my brother-in-law who is straight and married also having sex together. Each of us touching, sucking, etc each other. What does this mean? This dream scares the hell out of me.
Henry
Good morning, Henry.
If your brother-in-law is the only person you have such dreams about, then I seriously doubt that your sexual orientation is in any danger. If you were a latent homosexual, then you would likely be having such dreams about a variety of men.
One key element is your emotional response to the dream. It scares you to be so intimate with your brother-in-law. I would suspect that you are contemplating some other sort of give-and-take relationship -- possibly a business partnership, hunting trip, or some similar venture -- with a family member. Probably with your brother-in-law or maybe with your wife's entire family. On a gut level, you feel that this would be a bad move, thus the fearful reaction to the intimacy portrayed in the dream.
If this is the case, then I would advise you to back off and examine the plans more carefully before committing yourself.
If this doesn't help, it will be obvious because the dream will re-occur until you get the message. If it does, try to remember more about the dream and we'll take another shot at it.
Pleasant dreams,
Peregrin
