Batch of Dreams

Hello I was wondering if you could interpret these dreams for me:

1) I am normal, at home, at the school, whatever and suddenly, while talking with someone else, my teeth start to become loose and they fall...... I mean I notice they get weak and I touch them so they fall more easily. usually only two or three of them fall, so I panic (somehow I know I have dreamed about it before) and wake up.

2) I have a girlfriend, and lately, I have a dream about she's cheating on me. I have dreams too about I am cheating on her (it's almost always with the same girl, but I don't know her). So even in different dreams I cheat on my girlfriend with the same unknown girl.

3) Sometimes I have dreams that I'm eating something but I leave some food. Suddenly, the food I saved is gone.

4) Sometimes I know I'm having a dream and somehow I know I can make anything to happen in that dream, like "it's my dream I control anything". The thing is that for every thing I wish for, some sort of "energy" is used. That energy is my "sleep time" so when the energy is over I always wake up. It only happens when I'm really really tired (full of "energy") and then I can't sleep........

Thanks a lot for your help. Sorry if those are really weird.

Regards

Alejandro

Paralyzed

Dear Peregrin,

When I was a child, I was able have "lucid dreams" quite freely. Quite a few years ago, I had a dream where I was trapped within the jaws of an alligator. During this dream, I literally felt the pain as the alligator's jaws were crushing me. This theme of "feeling" physical pain during dreaming recurred throughout the years (though the alligator was more or less a one time occurrence). Whenever this occurs (quite frequently), I enter a state of sleep paralysis in which I am aware (lucid) to the fact that I am in a dream and I know that the only way to stop the "pain" is to wake up. The paralysis keeps me from being able to "jerk" my body out of sleep. Inevitably, I awaken a few times "within the dream" before I can truly wake myself up. After years of trying to cope and understand these recurring nightmares, I made a remarkable discovery. I realized that everytime this "phenomenon" occurs, it is preceded by the same event (in the dream) each time which seemingly triggers this state. The event is that I become fully aware that I am in a dream and have control (full lucidity) of my surroundings. However, this control ends abruptly as the pain and "paralysis" immediately kick in. I wish to regain the control that I once had in my wonderful "lucid dreams" but this block prevents me. Interestingly, one might think that having realized this cause for this state I could simply keep it from happening, but it has not helped me. I tell myself "this is a dream, the pain is not real, I have control" but it does not help. I cannot regain control and (as I have said) even awakening is even difficult. Please help! Thanx.

Last Day of School

Dear Peregrin,

It seems like I have a different variation of this re-occurring dream at least once a week or a couple of times a month for as long as I can remember off and on....If that makes any sense. It is always the last day of school and I need to find a certain teacher to say goodbye to... sometimes I have to walk up a lot of stairs or find my way around this maze of a school building. Other times, I am stuck cleaning out my locker first, and there is always so much STUFF! They are always really vivid dreams; sometimes Lucid, and I make myself Find this teacher....because I know it will be the last time I see her and I want to say goodbye.
